A century of service. A single family. One factory floor.
This week at Timsons—part of the Magnum Digital Solutions group—we paused production to celebrate something rare in modern manufacturing: brothers Stuart Evans and Ian Evans, whose careers at our Kettering facility now total a combined 100 years.
In front of their colleagues, Stuart and Ian were each presented with bespoke awards by Giovanni Piazza, Managing Director of Timsons, marking a milestone that says as much about the people who built this company as it does about the company itself.
A milestone built one shift at a time
Timsons has been engineering and manufacturing world-class printing presses from Kettering since 1896. The names on the door have evolved over the decades, but the work has always depended on the same thing: skilled people who learn the craft, refine it, pass it on, and stay long enough to see machines they helped build still running in plants around the world.
Stuart and Ian represent exactly that tradition. Between them, they have seen generations of presses leave the shop floor, supported customers across the globe, and helped train the next wave of engineers carrying that knowledge forward. One hundred years of combined experience is not a number you reach by accident—it is built one shift, one build, and one problem solved at a time.
