Magnum Digital Solutions will be exhibiting at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2027, taking place February 22–25 at the Messe Lucerne in Lucerne, Switzerland. Now in its sixteenth edition, the biennial event brings the world's leading manufacturers of digital printing and finishing technology together with the owners, managing directors and production experts who decide where the industry goes next — all in one compact, highly focused setting.

Two systems, fully operational on the show floor
Both the FlexBook 22 and the Flex Auto-Loader will be installed and running at the Magnum stand throughout the show. Rather than watching a video or reading a spec sheet, visitors can put the equipment through its paces, run their own formats and see the throughput for themselves.
The FlexBook 22: non-stop book block finishing at 800 ft/min
The FlexBook 22 is engineered to eliminate touches and keep pace with today's fastest inkjet presses while taking up roughly half the floor space of comparable systems. Visitors will see:
- Web speeds of up to 800 feet per minute
- Automatic, non-stop format changeovers — the line switches from one job to the next without stopping
- A single 2D barcode that triggers job recognition and drives cutting, gluing and batching downstream
- Integrated moisture control and an automatic de-curler that keeps finished book blocks flat and ready for binding
- Signature or cut-sheet flexibility with imposition control that reduces waste
- All-servo paper processing, including linear and cross perforators, shear slitting and die-cutting
- An inline endsheet solution with hot-melt glue applied at the spine and bottom endsheet
- Sheeter with chip-out and dual central and edge slitters, all with vacuum extraction
The result is a line that turns press speed into finished output with far fewer touches and shorter setups.
The Flex Auto-Loader: hands-free feeding into any binder
Feeding book blocks into a perfect binder is one of the last labour-intensive steps in digital book production. The Flex Auto-Loader makes book-block feeding automatic and 5x faster, increasing productivity and reducing cost. At the stand, visitors will see the system de-stack, verify and load blocks at up to 2,000 cycles per hour — around five times faster than manual feeding — with no operator handling.

- Any book block thickness, any format, with no retooling between jobs
